About Me

Hello. I'm Ronald Van.
Currently, I am a Designer looking for positions in level design, game design, or related roles. Previously, I worked on WWE2K22 and worked for Camouflaj.
I'm also a 2020 graduate from DigiPen Institute of Technology with a degree in Bachelor's of Science in Computer Programming and Game Design. Through my time at the school, I studied and worked on many subjects including programming, game design, art, communication, and teamwork.
My main focus in game development is game design but I also wanted to learn about programming hence the reason for the graduate degree. The reason why I want to focus in game design is to teach myself how to build an experience that the game industry has been creating these days. So far, I have worked with custom engines and commercial engines, like Unreal & Unity. Previous to DigiPen, I have programmed in QBASIC and Java. Beyond that, I want to learn as much as possible on any subject to enhance the games that me and my teams make in the future.
I have other interests like music, animated arts, performing arts, and graphic novels. I have done choir previously and still enjoy singing privately. I have done some animations in the past through Flash and Photoshop. I have taken a scriptwriting class and acting classes. I like to draw sometimes when I'm bored.
