Game Concept

Short Version: A third-person adventure puzzle game where you play as an Avian Humanoid in a Norse inspired world as you craft potions to overcome obstacles.

Long Version: Players enter into a world picking up ingredients in the world and finding recipes to navigate in the world to find out its secrets. The player would find some familiar lore to the Nordic legends and the world they arrive it is an island with three different biomes on the island.

Roles

Level Designer

  • Restructured the level to improve player guidance with the given art assets and game mechanics.

  • Designed puzzle content for the level to encourage players to use character abilities to complete objectives and obtain collectibles.

  • Implemented the level ideas using the engine’s landscape tool, geometry shapes, and the artists’ art assets.

  • Conceptualized the final version of the level by drafting layouts and using feedback from teammates of different disciplines to improve the plan.
