Story

The player play as a robot that woke up in a lab and wants to escape the place and the escape became more than just the lab. The game takes the player through many of the places that holds the lab as its center. There is an unseen scientist that also watches the robot escape and the scientist mistreats the experiments and robots that he has control over. 

Role

Level Designer

  • Designed and white-boxed multiple levels using Maya, BSPs, and material textures to make levels that represent a futuristic setting of the game’s story.

  • Added level details by placing assets from marketplace and simple geometry to build a better connection to the game's world.

  • Planned and adjusted lighting of the world to guide players through some of the levels and to highlight parts of the world.

  • Created some of the structures of building in the levels with Maya and Unreal's material blueprints.

Tech Designer

  • Implemented mechanics, with Blueprints, to simulate a robot that grapple blocks and lift heavy objects.

  • Scripted trigger events where players would take a hover craft across some of the levels.

  • Scripted objects that respond to certain actions to limit some parts of the mechanics.
